Eligibility Requirment

Empowering Future Leaders from Public Charter Schools

To apply for the fellowship, applicants must have attended a public charter school for any part of their K-12 education. We’re particularly interested in young leaders at the beginning of their careers in a plethora of fields to share their unique insights and drive systemic change!

Betul Toson

A graduate of Harmony Science Academy-El Paso, currently studying English Language Arts in Dallas. My purpose, my “why,” is to empower people to find their voices, take meaningful action and advocate.

ANG NGO

A graduated from Harmony School of Excellence in 2016. I got my BA in Biology from UT Arlington and am finishing my Professional Science Master’s from Temple University in December 2024.

Amanda Caton

A graduate of Harmony school of Innovation- Dallas, Class of 2021. I currently work as a Special Education Teacher Assistant at HSI Dallas while pursuing a degree in Healthcare Studies.

Prabitha Cherian

A graduate of Harmony Science Academy-Carrollton, Texas, Class of 2024. I am currently a student at the University of Texas at Arlington, majoring in Nursing.

Leslie Vega

A graduate of Harmony Science Academy Euless 2022. I attend the University of Texas at Arlington and work as a UTA Alumni Coach. Currently residing in Euless.

Agustin Ortiz

I graduated from Harmony School of Excellence – Dallas in 2016. I went on to Texas A&M University at Galveston where I earned my Bachelors, double majoring in Marine Biology and Marine Fisheries.

Abena Marfo

I graduated from Harmony School of Innovation-Garland in 2018. In 2022, I earned bachelor’s degrees in Sociology, Health and Society, and Human Rights from Southern Methodist University.

Jailene Salvador

A graduate of Harmony Science Academy- Dallas, class of 2019. I went on to graduate from Dallas Baptist University, where I received a Bachelor’s of Science in Political Science and a minor in Spanish Language and Culture.

Ahren Tejeda

Hello, my name is Ahren Tejeda and I graduated from Harmony Science Academy Carrollton in 2023. I am currently attending the University of North Texas, Denton, to earn my bachelors degree in Criminal Justice.
